Job summary

Cintel Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to lead and support application development for IT infrastructure and mission needs at Redstone Arsenal.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain software, integrating third-party components and automating O&M tasks, with a focus on analytics-driven development. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, a Top Secret clearance, and strong skills in Java, Python, C#, REST APIs, microservices, and modern CI/CD practices, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java, C, C#, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, React, Microservices, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Postgres.
• Proficient in modern languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• Experience integrating APIs, third-party libraries, and legacy systems.
• Strong design, architecture, and deployment skills, with DevSecOps awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and manage custom software solutions for IT infrastructure and mission needs.
• Integrate third-party components and develop new capabilities.
• Modify and maintain codebases to improve performance, usability, and security.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop solutions including data processing, statistical modeling, and analytics.
• Participate in SDLC phases: planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, QA.
• Support architecture discussions, milestone reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide resource estimation and contribute to project planning.
• Document solutions and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
