Job summary

Cintel Inc. is seeking a Software Developer SME to provide technical leadership in the design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions supporting complex mission requirements at Redstone Arsenal.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE/IT or related field, 10+ years of software development experience, and an active Top Secret clearance. You will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver robust software systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
Extensive experience with software development methodologies, testing, and debugging.
Strong understanding of software architecture and system integration.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and solve complex problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems.
Analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective software solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Perform software testing, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams.
Conduct code reviews and establish software development best practices.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
Support software integration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
