What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to manage your book of business and exceed annual sales quotas
- Identify business challenges through structured discovery and present tailored proposals
- Maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities exceeding three times your annual quota
- Collaborate with marketing to drive pipeline development and nurture programs
- Document all sales activities and maintain market knowledge using the employer's CRM system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a client-facing new business role within software sales or SaaS
- Proven track record of sales success with quotas exceeding $850,000
- Experience in high-value, multi-touch sales cycles and developing strategies for assigned accounts
- Strong ability to build relationships with C-Suite executives and end users
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Mid-Market size new business prospecting and account development
- History of working with partners such as SIs, ISVs, and consulting firms
- Formal sales training is a plus but not required
- Ability to adapt to changing sales environments and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills
- Documented success in achieving sales targets and ensuring client satisfaction
