Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Direct Sales Executive to join our team and drive growth across North America and the UK. This is an open-remit role focused on bringing in top-performing sales talent with a strong existing network and a track record of closing high-value SaaS deals in PropTech, energy management, or commercial building technology.

Ideal candidates will already have books of business or client relationships across New York, California, Texas, the Midwest, DMV region, Florida, Georgia, Canada, and/or the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, closing, and post-sale relationship management
  • Leverage your existing network and regional connections to unlock new opportunities across target geographies
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on commercial real estate, facilities management, sustainability, and corporate operations
  • Clearly articulate the value of WellStat’s SaaS solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to support seamless onboarding and client success
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasts using CRM tools
  • Attend industry events and client meetings to build market visibility and close deals
Requirements
  • 7+ years of B2B direct sales experience, preferably in PropTech, energy management, IAQ, or smart building SaaS
  • Proven track record of success selling into mid-to-large enterprises using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
  • Established relationships with decision-makers in CRE, facilities, building operations, or ESG-focused roles
  • Strong technical understanding of EMS, IAQ/OAQ systems, BAS, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territories for client meetings and events
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and smart building certifications (e.g., WELL, LEED)
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
