Job summary

Acrisure Trade Credit is seeking an experienced insurance professional to manage the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts. You will oversee timelines, analyze exposures, prepare quote specifications, and negotiate coverage terms while presenting proposals to clients.

Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high-quality service delivery. A college degree is preferred and possession of an active insurance license is required;

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant insurance experience required, with an emphasis on middle to large market placements.
• Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimum supervision; able to accept direction on given assignments.
• Proficient with MS Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Experience with Epic a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment with strong customer service skills.
• Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers; excellent knowledge of the markets.
• Strong knowledge of all basic applicable insurance coverages.
• Proficient in creating the proposal presentation documents required.
• Must currently hold an applicable insurance license
• Pursuit of a professional designation CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU - preferred

Responsibilities

• Timeline & Process Management: Maintain timeline and process during new business and renewal processes.
• Communication: Communicate within the team and with markets.
• Policy Review & Recommendations: Review policies and recommend improvements.
• Submission Preparation: Prepare property and casualty submissions including Acord applications.
• Data Analysis: Analyze prospect client exposure and loss data; develop financial models.
• Market Relationships: Maintain relations with insurance companies and wholesalers.
• Confidentiality: Handle confidential information.
• Carrier Systems & Rating Tools: Rate policies to assist quoting.
• Licensing Compliance: Maintain licensing and CE requirements.
• Professional Development: Attend seminars and carrier events to improve expertise.
• Coverage Analysis & Strategy: Perform gap analysis and deliver coverage recommendations.
• Project Work: Work independently and in teams on projects.
• Risk Resource Engagement: Engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise.
