Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Albuquerque seeks a Mid-Level Water Engineer to join a team delivering water treatment infrastructure projects.

You will work with design teams and discipline experts to plan, evaluate, and develop designs across multiple assignments, coordinating across disciplines while maintaining quality and client service. The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), 6+ years in water-related engineering, and experience with drawings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience in water disciplines (water treatment, water resources, drinking water; wastewater and sewer; etc.)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6-months
• Experience developing drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
• Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations
• Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks
• Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead design tasks for water treatment infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines and team members.
• Assist in planning, evaluation, and design development for water-related needs.
