Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Mid-Level Wastewater Engineer to help plan, evaluate, and design water infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and discipline experts to deliver high-quality engineering products across multiple assignments. The role requires a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, 3+ years in wastewater, and experience with reports, drawings, and modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• At least 3 years of engineering experience in wastewater related disciplines
• Progressive experience developing engineering technical reports and presentations, design drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling
• Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks
• Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service
• EIT certification and on the path to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 5+ years of engineering experience in wastewater related disciplines
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 18-months
• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• Design and/or project management experience
• Experience or working knowledge with Autodesk Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• As a Mid-Level Wastewater Engineer, you’ll work closely with project managers and discipline experts to deliver quality engineering products.
• Your role will focus on planning, evaluation, and design development for water infrastructure needs and projects, potentially working on multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Additionally, you’ll coordinate your activities across disciplines and collaborate closely with other subject matter experts and team members.
