Job summary

Jacobs in Albuquerque is seeking a Mid-Level Water Engineer to join our design teams on water treatment projects. You will plan, evaluate, and develop designs for water infrastructure and coordinate across disciplines to deliver quality results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 6+ years in water-related projects, PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, and strong communication. We offer a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience in water related disciplines (water treatment, water resources, drinking water; wastewater and sewer; etc.)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6-months
• Experience developing drawings and specifications, and/or with computer modeling.
• Experience writing engineering technical reports and presentations
• Foundational experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience or working knowledge with Bluebeam, Autodesk and/or Bentley CAD platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver and lead tasks
• Attention to detail, quality delivery, and client service

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, evaluation, and design development for water treatment infrastructure needs and projects.
• Coordinate activities across multiple disciplines and collaborate with subject matter experts.
• Deliver high-quality engineering projects and communicate results to clients.
