Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) in North Logan, Utah is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to join the C4ISR Systems Division and support RESET services. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop mission-critical systems for national security and defense applications.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Proven experience with the systems engineering V-Model and requirements management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design reviews and manage cross-discipline teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with risk management.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and shape system direction.
• Develop and manage system requirements with traceability.
• Coordinate cross-discipline engineering for cohesive system design.
• Define and maintain system interfaces for smooth integration.
• Own the SEMP and support configuration management.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting performance and schedule.
• Support design, integration, and formal testing activities.
• Perform systems analysis to evaluate options and guide decisions.
• Develop mission CONOPS and advise the Program Manager.
