Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT/ networking or related field.
• 5+ years in systems administration or IT support; 7+ years preferred.
• Hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
• Working knowledge of Windows desktop OS, Windows Server, AD, and M365.
• Experience with patching, backups, security, and network connectivity.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and workstations (Ubuntu or similar).
• Provide helpdesk support for hardware, software, and network issues; document resolutions.
• Troubleshoot Linux using CLI, logs, and utilities; manage users, permissions, services.
• Administer Windows Server and Active Directory; manage GPOs and monitoring.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps, licensing, and user access.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and basic training.
• Perform imaging, deployments, patching, backups, and restorations.
• Monitor health, investigate issues, and propose reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPNs; coordinate with IT staff.
• Support cybersecurity activities and compliance documentation.
• Maintain system documentation and asset inventories.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT staff, and end users on changes.
