Job summary

PeopleTec seeks a Mid Level SATCOM Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to support Schriever SFB. You will provide technical services for command and certification engineering and support Wideband SATCOM systems.

You will evaluate test reports, generate assessments, and advise vendors and PMs to bring systems into compliance. Occasional travel is required, and a TS clearance with SCI is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DoD SATCOM experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI.
• Travel: 25%

Responsibilities

• Evaluate terminal and modem performance certification reports through all phases of the performance certification process.
• Generate engineering-based assessments and determine compliance with performance criteria.
• Provide guidance to vendors and PMs to modify system design or configuration for compliance.
• Evaluate new SATCOM technologies and recommend changes to requirements and standards.
• Review satellite performance tests and provide input to modify processes as needed.
• Support test and evaluation during on-orbit testing, evaluations, and anomalies.
• Maintain WSOMS databases and support mission planning with WSOMS.
