Job summary

Asher Health is hiring a mid-level Software Engineer to contribute across front-end and back-end engineering with some production support and DevOps responsibilities. The role spans three external-facing portals and one internal admin portal, sharing a common back-end.

You will work with React on the front end, Node.js microservices, and participate in API design, tests, and code reviews. Hybrid work is offered with onsite Plano/Dallas/Richardson, TX, and mentoring from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar).
• Experience in production support or on-call engineering capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end features using React and the component library.
• Develop and maintain Node.js microservices supporting frontend and platform functionality.
• Contribute to API design and service-to-service integration across microservices.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure configuration and monitoring.
