Job summary

Captivation is seeking a mid-level network engineer to support two operational customers. You will configure Cisco and Arista devices, maintain SSP compliance, and travel occasionally to OCONUS locations.

Primary duties include lab work, ticket resolution in Jira, and fielding new gear from our Columbia contractor site. This role requires TS/SCI with a favorable polygraph, a bachelor's degree, and DoD 8570 IAT level I certification.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience providing network engineering support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline required.
• IAT level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and sustain Cisco and Arista network gear.
• Support SSP compliance and DoD-related requirements.
• Occasional travel to OCONUS locations and on-call for operational systems.
• Work in lab, upgrade configurations, and resolve tickets in Jira.
