Job summary

Morrison Foerster LLP in New York seeks an attorney with 2–6 years of mergers and acquisitions and related strategic transactions experience. You will handle domestic and cross-border deals on both buy- and sell-side while navigating complex corporate issues.

Qualifications

Who You Are

You are a high performer with 2 – 6 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions.

You have experience in handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side.

You possess a solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.

You have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form and have outstanding research and analytical skills.

You have excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.

You have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility.

You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.
