Morrison Foerster, a leading global law firm, seeks attorneys with 2–4 years of mergers & acquisitions experience to join our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in New York. The role involves handling domestic and cross-border deals, and advising on complex structural corporate issues across buy and sell-sides.

Candidates must be admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive, possess strong research and analytical abilities, and deliver excellent client service within a collaborative team.

Who You Are

• You are a high performer with 2 – 4 years of significant experience in mergers + acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
• You have experience in handling domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the buy and sell-side.
• You possess a solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.
• You have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form and have outstanding research and analytical skills.
• You have excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment.
• You have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility.
• You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.

San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
