Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) seeks a mid‑level Mechanical Engineer to support the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor‑Hickam, HI. The role focuses on AMP management for HVAC, plumbing, water, wastewater, natural gas and other mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include analyzing SMS data, developing 5‑ and 10‑year investment strategies, and translating asset deficiencies into actionable project requirements, SOWs, and cost estimates while coordinating

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, incl. 3+ years in military facilities/infrastructure.
Experience with mechanical engineering, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, or asset-management programs.

Responsibilities

Analyze BUILDER SMS and Utilities SMS data to forecast degradation and lifecycle replacement for mechanical assets.
Develop and maintain Mechanical Sub-AMP documentation and long-term investment strategies.
Evaluate water, wastewater, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems to support AMPs.
Identify energy conservation opportunities and support lifecycle and ROI analyses.
Translate deficiencies into project requirements with SOWs, cost estimates, and DD1391 inputs.
