Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at Eglin AFB, FL. You will support the 46 Test Squadron Advanced Datalink Test Lab, performing cybersecurity duties and RMF activities across several programs.

The position requires a TS clearance, DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification, and extensive experience with RMF, A&A packages, and NIST controls. Travel up to 20% and readiness for CONUS/OCONUS deployments are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3-10 years of relevant experience.
Active Top Secret Clearance is required and ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to produce A&A packages with RMF documentation for test requirements.
Knowledge of NIST security control guidance to build SCTM features and assess OS vulnerabilities.
Experience reviewing Windows/Linux audit reports and documenting findings.
Self-starter capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to deploy CONUS/OCONUS and work independently.
Understanding of RMF processes and Security Plan compliance.
Knowledge of hardware/software Configuration Management processes.
Ability to perform OSHA lifting (≈40 lbs) for site setup.

Responsibilities

Will perform duties of an ISSO in Advanced Programs Developmental Test Lab.
Produce a high volume of RMF documentation across multiple systems and locations.
Conduct technical and non-technical reviews and audits per ISSM guidance.
