Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join their team at Nellis AFB. The ISSO will provide cybersecurity oversight and support for advanced modeling and simulation systems, ensuring compliance with security standards and leading authorization processes.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, alongside a DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification and an active Top Secret clearance. The role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's, or 0 years with a PhD or JD.
• Experience with STIGs, SCAP, SCC, vulnerability scanning, and RMF Bodies of Evidence.
• Strong understanding of RMF processes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update RMF artifacts for ATO maintenance.
• Support compliance and continuous monitoring of virtual training systems.
• Lead Assessment & Authorization processes.
