Job summary

Astrion seeks a Mid-Level Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the 46 Test Squadron Advanced Datalink Test Lab at Eglin AFB, FL. The role entails developing and maintaining RMF/A&A artifacts, ensuring SSP compliance, and coordinating with ISSM for accreditation decisions.

The candidate must be US citizen, hold an active TS clearance, and be able to travel up to 20%. This position is full-time and requires independent, proactive work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and active TS clearance or eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor's degree with 3–10 years of related experience, education can substitute for some experience.
• Strong RMF experience and ability to author A&A packages with DoD IS RMF docs.
• Familiarity with NIST security controls and SCTM, audits of MS and Linux systems.
• Capable of independent work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
• Willingness to deploy CONUS/OCONUS and support mobile and fixed IS.
• Experience reviewing audit reports and maintaining security documentation.
• Proficiency with RMF lifecycle reviews and SSP updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISSO duties in an Advanced Programs Developmental Test/Eval lab.
• Produce high volumes of RMF documentation across multiple systems and locations.
• Conduct technical and non-technical RMF reviews and audits as required.
