• The IP Transactions team advises clients on structuring and negotiating transactions for the development, acquisition, and commercialization of technology and intellectual property assets, with lawyers bringing scientific expertise across life sciences, medtech, digital health, software, semiconductors, data, AI, and fintech.
• The role involves working on IP, technology, and commercial transactions for clients in diverse industries, including cross-border matters.
• Specific work types include license, collaboration, R&D, software, SaaS, cloud, strategic alliances, joint ventures, manufacturing, supply, distribution, services, and outsourcing agreements.
• Associates support the IP and technology aspects of M&A, private equity, and financing transactions, and advise clients on IP compliance matters involving open source software, AI, and data.
• Required experience includes drafting and negotiating IP and technology transactions at a major law firm, with specific experience in technology and/or life sciences transactions, and IP and technology due diligence for corporate transactions.
