Gensler in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to develop and deliver high-quality interior design and interior architecture for commercial spaces. You will lead design development, coordinate FF&E, finishes, lighting, and space planning, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with clients and consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Interior Design/Architecture, 6–8 years of project-driven experience, and is proficient with Revit (SketchUp/3D

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of project-driven interior design and interior architecture experience in a commercial design firm.
• NCIDQ certification (or on the path to certification) and willingness to discuss aligned roles.
• LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Highly proficient with Revit; experience with SketchUp or 3D modeling a plus.
• Commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices and a solid reputation in the design community.

Responsabilités

• Lead design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
• Responsible for the selection and presentation of FF&E, color palettes, and lighting.
• Select interior finishes, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, and material selections for construction.
• Deliver interior design deliverables including client needs interpretation, space planning, conceptual and schematic design, and construction documentation.
• Deliver design solutions requiring independent judgment and best practices.
• Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software to communicate concepts.
• Serve as primary contact for external consultants, product reps, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
• Guide and mentor less experienced teammates.
