Job summary

Citi Hungary is seeking a Mid-level UI Frontend Developer to join the Identity Innovation space within Cloud Technology Services. The role focuses on building production-grade frontend applications with TypeScript and React.js to enhance user experience and support automation and cost-reduction initiatives.

You will collaborate with UI/UX, backend, and product teams, implement Redux, ensure secure OAuth-2 authentication, and contribute to tests and reusable components.

Qualifications

• Proven frontend engineering experience with UI development.
• Experience in large, global environments, preferably financial services.
• Ability to manage technical projects or significant project components.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication in technical contexts.
• Understanding of frontend architecture and analytics tools.
• Analytical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and with virtual teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality UIs using TypeScript and React.js.
• Implement scalable state management (Redux, Redux Toolkit).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners.
• Integrate frontend with APIs and manage authentication via OAuth-2.
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain a Storybook.
• Optimize UI/UX performance and ensure feasibility with existing frameworks.
• Write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure audit and security requirements are followed with BISOs/TISOs.
