Job summary

Citi is seeking a Full Stack UI Developer to join the Equities Technology group. The role focuses on building robust web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling. You will implement components, manage state with Redux, and ensure test coverage with Jest and Vitest.

The position is based in Singapore, with a strong emphasis on code quality, performance, and collaboration across teams to deliver scalable front-end solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on React and React hooks
• Unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library
• State management with Redux, Recoil or React Context
• RxJS, WebSockets and Web Workers
• Webpack and Vite
• Debugging, performance tuning
• Electron container development
• RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express, JWT

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web apps using React and TypeScript, ensuring high quality, clean and maintainable code
• Manage application state using redux and middleware such as redux toolkit
• Ensure high test coverage by writing unit tests using Vitest
• Write and maintain a suite of reusable UI components across feature apps
• Contribute to overall application architecture and provide inputs on front end frameworks and design patterns
• Perform code reviews and contribute to quality, maintainability and testability of software
• Be a self-starter and plan/schedule own work for tasks and projects
• Work closely with teams to form good working culture and adapt to different environments
