Job summary

Left Field Labs is seeking a Mid-Level Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable product experiences for a large platform. You will work closely with senior engineers and client stakeholders to deliver feature development and platform improvements in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of frontend experience with TypeScript, Lit, and Redux, plus unit testing with Jasmine and a focus on accessibility (WCAG).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of frontend experience with TypeScript, Lit and Redux.
• Experience with Jasmine unit/integration tests.
• WCAG accessibility compliance experience.
• Experience building production-grade, scalable frontend apps.
• Client-facing engineering experience.
• Strong maintainability and long-term ownership.
• Experience supporting internal tooling is a plus.
• Ownership mindset from design to release.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance scalable frontend platform functionality.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design, implementation, and delivery.
• Partner with designers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in client-facing meetings and technical alignment sessions.
• Review code and uphold engineering best practices.
• Improve platform performance, stability, and scalability.
• Support planning, testing, and releases across initiatives.
• Iterate on existing product functionality at scale.
• Support internal tooling and platform capabilities.
