Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team. The role includes front-end design, development, and optimization of GUI elements, with a focus on user-centric UI/UX and Agile processes.

A Secret clearance is required, along with a bachelor’s degree and multiple years of software development experience. The position is remote and targets DoD DevSecOps integration, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and GitLab expertise.

Qualifications

• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices, containers.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and documenting tests to verify operability and standards compliance.
• 3 years of experience with Jira.
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years’ experience using TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Cloud environment development experience.
• Containerized environment development with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Experience with at least five of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent and relevant front-end design and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end design and development tasks including technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes.

• Generate system wireframes and mockups considering multiple user personas.

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team! The Mid-level Front End Developer provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area.

Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance.
