Job summary

Maximus seeks a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team in a remote capacity with required Secret clearance. The role focuses on frontend design, development, and documentation for PMO and stakeholders.

You will build and optimize GUI components, wireframes, and user interfaces while supporting secure cloud deployments. Responsibilities include planning modifications to GUIs, creating technical design drawings, and ensuring usability across multiple user personas.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; master's may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• Experience documenting system tests to verify operability and compliance.
• 3 years of Jira experience.
• 3 years of testing web applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years' experience using TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Cloud environment experience.
• Containerized environments such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.
• 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years experience with at least five of: NPM, Cypress, esbuild, Bun, Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent front-end design and development.
• Agile, user-centric UI/UX design experience.
• Experience generating system wireframes and mockups for multiple personas.
• UX design tool suites like Sketch, InVision.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end design and development tasks including design drawings, mockups, and documentation for PMO review.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize UI elements for user-navigate.
• Enhance system navigation and operator usability for new features.
• Develop technical design artefacts, wireframes, and functional models.
• Work in DevSecOps environments with cloud and containerized deployments.

Job description

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team! The Mid-level Front End Developer provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area.

Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

• Secret clearance or higher required.

• A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.

• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira).

• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.

• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.

• 3 years' experience utilizing typescripts in angular or react.

• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.

• Practical experience developing in containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker.

• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.

• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.

• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following:

• NPM

• Cypress.io

• esbuild

• Bun

• Maven EXP

• SonarQube

• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.

• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.

• Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using Agile Test Driven development
