Qualifications

• 7 years of software development experience in OO and scripting languages with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
• Experience planning, executing and documenting system tests to verify operability.
• 3 years using Jira for bug tracking and project management.
• 3 years testing web-based applications.
• 3 years in software development programs or projects.
• 3 years using TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Experience in cloud environments and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitLab (5+ years).
• Experience with at least five of: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube, etc.
• 3+ years front-end design and development with agile, user-centric UX standards.
• Ability to generate wireframes and mockups for multiple user personas.
• Experience with UX tool suites (Sketch, InVision).

Responsibilities

• Front-end design and development tasks with design drawings, mockups and docs for PMO and stakeholders.
• Plan and implement GUI modifications, build/optimize UI elements and navigation.
• Enable operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.
• Engage in agile, user-centric application design ensuring strong UI/UX standards.

Job description

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team! The Mid-level Front End Developer provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area.

Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

• 3 years' experience utilizing typescripts in angular or react.

• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.

• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following:

• 3 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development.

• Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.

• Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using Agile Test Driven development
