Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to contribute to front-end design, development, and UX improvements. The role emphasizes implementing GUIs, optimizing navigation, and delivering user-friendly interfaces for complex systems.

The candidate should have strong TypeScript experience in Angular or React, solid DevSecOps exposure, and a background in cloud and containerized environments such as Kubernetes or Docker. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance or higher required.
• A bachelor's degree in related field required; master's may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices and containers.
• Experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests to verify operability.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development projects.
• 3 years' experience utilizing TypeScript in Angular or React.
• Experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience in containerized environments like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven EXP, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent and relevant experience front-end design and development.
• Experience with agile, user-centric UI/UX design.
• Experience generating wireframes/mockups for multiple personas.
• Experience using UX design tools like Sketch or InVision.

Responsibilities

• Create technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes for PMO and reviews.
• Plan and implement modifications to GUIs and optimize UI elements.
• Improve system navigation and user-facing feature development for ease of use.
• Develop front-end architecture and procedures supporting React/Angular applications.

Maximus is seeking a Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team! The Mid-level Front End Developer provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area.

Shall perform engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

This role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using Agile Test Driven development

• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments
