Job summary

Quantinuum in Broomfield, CO is seeking a mid-level FPGA Design Engineer to join the Quantum Computing Hardware team. You will lead development of FPGA designs for our Apollo quantum computer, leveraging SystemVerilog, simulation, synthesis, and placement/routing to drive the core digital control system that coordinates a large array of electronics.

This role offers potential remote work up to two days per week with approval.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in engineering or R&D setting.
• 5+ years FPGA development experience.
• 2+ years lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, prototype, design, and implement the control systems for our Quantum computers.
• Perform FPGA design, simulation, and verification
• Understand system-level interaction of control loops comprising digital, analog, and RF signals.
• Provide technical expertise for future product development and process improvements.
