Job summary

Quantinuum in Broomfield, CO seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design and deliver electrical systems for quantum computer control. You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, software, optical engineers and scientists to advance FPGA-based digital control, servo loops, and low-noise analog hardware.

The role focuses on subsystem design, simulation, validation, board bring-up, and documentation; candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' experience, with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• US person required under contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute subsystem-level designs with limited oversight.
• Perform design, simulation, and validation of moderately complex circuits (analog, digital, or RF).
• Develop and debug FPGA modules, signal processing blocks, or control loops.
• Analyze test data and identify root causes of issues.
• Contribute to board bring-up and system integration activities.
• Document designs, test procedures, and results.
• Provide technical input in design reviews
• Design products using DFx best practices
• Work closely with cross functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, optical engineers, & scientists to develop electronics for use in our quantum computers
