Job summary

GHD is seeking a mid-to-senior level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist in Baton Rouge to coordinate and deliver a wide range of environmental projects. You will manage permitting, analyze data, and engage with clients while mentoring junior staff.

Qualified candidates typically have 10+ years in environmental consulting, PE or PG designation is highly regarded, and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Post‑Graduate (PG) will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver environmental solutions and projects, including technical correspondence, proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications.
• Manage permitting activities, interpret regulations, analyze data, and engage with clients; develop business opportunities; mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate and deliver environmental impact assessment projects while maintaining timelines and quality.
• Lead climate adaptation strategies for large-scale projects and geographic locations; focus on sustainability and resilience.
