The Unbound Collection Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Building Maintenance Engineer for PM shifts (2:30 pm–11 pm). You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and pool maintenance while delivering guest-focused service.

This full-time, hourly position starts at $21 per hour with benefits and opportunities to grow within Hyatt properties worldwide. Weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Formación

• 1–2 years of hands-on building maintenance or engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, including weekends.

Summary

STARTS AT 21.00/HOUR - PM Shifts 2:30 pm - 11 pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and resort equipment
• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, chemical balance, and operation of resort pools and hot tubs
• Participate in emergency response and regular safety compliance training procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Must be available to work weekends as well as PM shifts (typically 2:30 pm- 11 pm)
