Job summary

Fresno Mission in Fresno, CA is seeking a Donor Relations Officer, Mid-Level Giving to cultivate relationships with a portfolio of 400-600 mid-level donors, focusing on outreach, retention, stewardship and increased giving.

The position involves phone calls, emails, personal visits, tours, events, and thoughtful follow-up to demonstrate impact and strengthen partnerships, while developing strategies based on donor history and interests and collaborating with the Development team to reach

Qualifications

Experience in fundraising, donor relations, sales, account management, nonprofit development or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to professionally represent Fresno Mission with donors.
Ability to work toward measurable fundraising, retention, engagement and relationship-development goals.
Experience with donor databases/CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 400 to 600 mid-level donors with engagement, retention and revenue growth.
Build genuine donor relationships through phone calls, emails, personal meetings, tours and events.
Develop relationship strategies based on donors' giving history, interests and connection to Fresno Mission.
Identify opportunities to retain, re-engage and increase donor giving and engage in major gift conversations when appropriate.
Maintain accurate donor records and work toward fundraising goals as part of the Development team.
