Ryder in Eagan, Minnesota seeks a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles. You’ll work on a team, with a second shift from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, earning $33.02 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines and preventative maintenance.
• Two years of related classroom training or work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Complies with safety, DOT, MOT requirements.
• Performs other support duties to assist operations.
