Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Eagan, MN is hiring an Entry Level Diesel Technician. The role offers hourly pay and benefits such as medical, dental, vision after 30 days, and a 401(k) match. You will work on heavy-duty vehicles with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools.

The position includes a certification bonus, quarterly bonuses, PTO from day one, tuition repayment, and paid training. Shift is second shift, Monday–Friday, with weekends off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• One year or more experience in transportation maintenance, preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A, preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively; work shift as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic vehicle maintenance.
• Performs component identification and minor repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance with training and support.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Perform all entry level tasks.
• Diagnoses minor mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
