Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Front Royal, Virginia to maintain heavy-duty vehicles with state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) match and tuition assistance.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, second shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with weekends off, and opportunities for merit increases and veteran bonuses. Candidates should have technical credentials and diesel repair aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical certifications preferred.
• Two years or more of related experience preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
