Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Front Royal, Virginia is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to service heavy-duty vehicles and perform standard maintenance. You will diagnose mechanical and electronic issues with diagnostic tools and contribute to safety and reliability on the road.

You will be part of a team with opportunities for growth, benefits after 30 days, and a second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Weekly pay and performance bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines including preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
