Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in West Allis, WI, offering weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The position features a second shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm) with competitive hourly pay and various bonuses and advancement opportunities for skilled technicians.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant certifications; CDL-A is preferred and must be obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years of combination of classroom training and work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; able to obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as needed.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company guidelines.
