Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (preferred), a CDL Class A (preferred) and relevant diesel repair experience. The company provides safety-first training, valuable PTO, 401(k) match, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools required and prior mechanical repair experience in engines (gas or diesel).
• Two years or more classroom training and work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers when applicable.
• Identify root causes of basic failures and perform required repairs.
• Replace defective components as instructed.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints.
