Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Springfield, Massachusetts, offering a stable career with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will work second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) on heavy-duty vehicles, performing diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs with access to state-of-the-art tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of hands-on maintenance experience in heavy vehicles preferred.
• CDL class A preferred or able to obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conducts standard vehicle maintenance and preventative checks.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electrical issues and repairs as required.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of the breakdown and plan repairs.
