Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Dracut, MA is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our team on the second shift. You will perform heavy-duty diesel maintenance and repairs, using state-of-the-art diagnostics and tools, with a schedule Tue-Sat and hours listed in the posting.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $33.69 plus quarterly bonuses, tool and boot allowances, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer where applicable
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue
• Maintains compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
