Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support the LI2S-MC program office in Stafford, VA. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructures and services, while collaborating with engineers, cybersecurity, logisticians, and analysts in a scaled agile environment.

The position requires a Secret clearance, six years of experience with four in mission-critical projects, and a background in DoD programs.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; MA/MS preferred.
At least six years of professional experience with four years on high-visibility or mission-critical projects.
Experience with Navy/Marine Corps programs preferred.
Experience designing/deploying SaaS/PaaS cloud environments.
Experience with Oracle Fusion and Oracle Visual Builder is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and manage cloud infrastructure.
Evaluate legacy apps for cloud migration or transfer to cloud services.
Implement and manage cloud-based systems; collaborate with engineering and cyber teams.
Develop user-defined views from architectural data for specific purposes.
Review and develop hybrid multi-cloud solution architectures and SaaS/PaaS integration.
