Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a DoD modernization program. You will manage Windows and Linux systems in Azure, monitor infrastructure, and implement patches and security controls to ensure system reliability and compliance.

The role requires a Secret/IT-I level clearance, DoD baseline certifications, and extensive DoD environment experience. Off-site work is expected as part of a government contract.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in application systems administration, incl. 4+ years hands-on install/config/troubleshooting.
• DoD cybersecurity policies and STIGs compliance experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers in Azure.
• Strong vulnerability remediation and patch management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Monitor enterprise application infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.
• Conduct patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and STIGs.
• Coordinate with government teams to resolve infrastructure and performance issues.
