Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a DoD modernization and sustainment program. The role focuses on managing Windows and Linux servers, Azure cloud environments, security controls, and vulnerability remediation.

The position requires a Secret clearance with IT-I/ Tier 5 investigation at proposal submission and DoD 8140 baseline certification. Off-site work location and contingent funding are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of specialized application systems administration experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
• DoD 8140 baseline certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and RHEL in Azure environments.
• Monitor and optimize enterprise infrastructure for availability and performance.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Apply DoD security controls and STIGs across systems.
• Support Azure cloud administration and VM management.
• Coordinate with government teams to resolve issues.
