Job summary

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Advanced Information Technologist – Mid Level Cloud Engineer for the Digital Infrastructure Segment in Saint Louis, MO. The role focuses on bridging third-party applications with scalable cloud infrastructure, vendor/licensing management, and ensuring optimal cloud performance. Onsite in Hazelwood, MO with up to 10% travel.

Requires active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms.
• 1+ years of experience with DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Deployment & Integration of COTS packages on a cloud platform and document changes.
• IaC: Develop Terraform, ARM, and Bicep scripts for compute, storage, and networking.
• Vendor & License Management: validate architecture and manage licenses.
• Environment Standardization across dev, test, and production to prevent drift.
• Performance Tuning: optimize cloud resources and scale as needed.
