Job summary

The Boeing Company in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an Advanced Technologist - Associate Cloud Engineer to join the Digital Infrastructure Segment. You will collaborate with DevSecOps, SRE, Product Security Engineering, Cyber and IT teams to deploy applications and tools in a cloud environment.

The role focuses on bridging third-party applications with scalable cloud infrastructure, migrating on-premise apps to the cloud, and managing vendor licensing while ensuring security and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years related work experience or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms.
• 1+ years of experience with DevOps.
• Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8140) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deployment & integration of complex COTS packages on a cloud platform.
• Mature and optimize local edge compute integration with the cloud.
• Migrate applications from on-prem to the cloud in collaboration with subcontractors and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision compute, storage, and networking.
• Vendor and license management to ensure compliance and license checks access is allowed.
• Maintain environment standardization to prevent configuration drift across dev, test and production.
• Performance tuning of cloud resources to meet vendor benchmarks.
