Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to provide technical leadership across ESG programs, focusing on DevSecOps, IaC, and secure, highly-distributed environments.

The role requires a U.S. Top Secret clearance, 5+ years leading software teams in Agile/DevSecOps, and hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. Onsite work across Seal Beach, CA and other listed U.S. locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years leading software teams or projects (level 4) or 10+ years (level 5).
• Experience with Agile development processes, DevOps/DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with secure, air-gapped/on-prem environments and IaC/CAC
• Willingness to relocate to listed U.S. locations if not within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and sustainment of secure DevSecOps pipelines and automation.
• Architect and maintain Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code solutions.
• Establish and govern secure container build, storage, transfer, and deployment processes.
• Provide technical leadership for integration, deployment, and test environments.
• Troubleshoot platforms, infrastructure, and security issues across lifecycle stages.
• Lead automated testing, monitoring, and validation to improve reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement via metrics and root-cause analysis.
• Guide remediation of security vulnerabilities and compliance controls.
