Lateral Link, a leading legal recruitment firm, is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm to hire a mid-level associate for its Litigation & Disputes Practice Group in New York City. The role focuses on class actions and mass torts with strong hybrid flexibility.
The successful candidate will handle all phases of complex litigation, including depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation, while engaging Fortune 500 clients and contributing to strategic
Qualifications
- 3+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm or prominent litigation setting.
- Proven experience taking/defending fact and expert depositions and supporting trial teams in state or federal jury trials.
- Active bar admission in New York and excellent written/oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Defend complex class actions and mass tort matters in state and federal courts.
- Draft pleadings, high-level motion practice, and class certification strategy.
- Oversee fact and expert discovery, including depositions.
- Support trial preparation and participate on jury trial teams; assist with appellate briefing.
- Interface with Fortune 500 clients and contribute to strategic decision-making.
