We are seeking a motivated civil engineer to join our Facilities Division, specializing in high-performance projects in food and beverage, Federal, and industrial facility design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, make a positive environmental impact, and grow your career with support, coaching, and training.

Location flexibility is available for hybrid or remote work for the right candidate, ideally near Boise, Idaho; Madison, Wisconsin; or Overland Park, Kansas.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with grading and drainage design for new sites, remodels, and additions
• Provide utility delivery, access road design, permitting, and construction support

What to Expect

• Use terrain modeling software like AutoCAD Civil3D for project collaboration
• Decentralized decision-making with ownership of project goals
• Thorough QA/QC process ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Compensation based on hourly wage, paid for hours worked

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 5-10 years of relevant experience with independent judgment
• PE license preferred; California PE bonus available
• Experience in land development, municipal utility design, water resources, or environmental engineering
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading
• Strong communication and self-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D or Microstation Inroads
• Experience with stormwater modeling software like HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.
• Foundation design experience
