Job summary

GCyber seeks a Mid-Level Business Analyst for a federal IT modernization program focused on secure digital capabilities in a classified environment. The role supports Agile delivery with ServiceNow, AWS, Red Hat, Kafka, and related tools.

You will connect mission stakeholders with the delivery team to translate customer needs into testable software and data requirements. As the Mid-Level BA you will elicit and document requirements, facilitate sessions with diverse teams, maintain backlog items

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or related field; four to eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience writing user stories and testable acceptance criteria in Scrum or Agile.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical, security, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and translate business, operational, user, data, and system needs into clear requirements, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate working sessions with customers, product owners, subject matter experts, developers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, and operational teams.
• Document current-state processes and design practical future-state workflows.
• Manage requirements and user stories in Jira with traceability across design, development, testing, deployment, and acceptance.
